teaching kids that homosexuality is not “wrong” is not the same as teaching them that it is “good”total strawman

Lane, you did it again! I don’t know how and where you find your vids, but I always find them quite informative, your 1gig account rocks! This gentleman brings the broads and specifics together well. He’s a great teacher! I encourage you to keep after our Lord Jesus Christ! Hallelujah, and God bless you bro!

Thanks for the encouragement. :) For this one, Chris and I are actually friends, and he contacted me letting me know about this video. I was more than happy to put it up. Next week, I’ll have one up by my friend, Doug Eaton, as well. Also, episode 2 of Rightly Divided should be live in the next few hours.

I agree, they should not be abused and bullied. But I also think they should not be reshaping the whole nation to revolve around them either. I believe it is an identity problem. They are asking for special rights when everyone is already equal under the law (when it is enforced properly). That’s why I think the hate crimes bill is dumb and unnecessary, and even some gay people think so too. A murder is a murder and an assault is an assault.

taz, the whole world isn’t entirely straight. and it isn’t entirely christian. and even if it is christian, it isn’t entirely HATEFUL of gay people. so i would strongly suggest to bible-thumpers to stop acting as if they are doing god a favor. when in reality, they are simply hiding behind gods skirts and projecting their OWN ignorance and bigotry onto god

To be honest, I don’t see what the purpose of this entire message, speech, conference. Speaking to “concerned Christian parents” about the indoctrination in government run schools????

It’s Griswold V. Connecticut. How the heck did he miss that if he did any background research whatsoever before trying to debate this topic? :-P

I didn’t want to sound like a snoot about the Griswold V. Connecticut thing, but he really should have covered that. He talks about stuff related to Christians that only has surfaced in the last 50 years. You know what he forgot to mention? The stereotype about Christians being stupid uneducated fanatics. Go back more than 100 years or so and you’ll find the clergy among the more educated people in society, and this creed has had more than its share of thinking over the centuries. =)

Loved the rest of the talk, but hopefully he can avoid goofs like that in the future so that our opponents will have to work a lot harder to find something to second-guess in something like this. :-)

What does it have to do with homosexuality? Okay, Paul used his Roman citizenship which was given by worldly government. Paul never tried to make laws to protect himself.
